The Robin-Hwajin Yoon Kim Foundation offers five $5,000 renewable scholarships available for high school seniors
planning to attend college as a full-time, degree-seeking student in the fall. The Robin-Hwajin Yoon Kim Foundation, which supports education, the underprivileged, and positive social impact initiatives has established the “Kao Kalia Yang Scholarship” to help economically-challenged Hmong American youth fulfill their dreams of obtaining higher education.
Applicants must be blood descendants of Hmong race or ethnically identified as Hmong American (with citizenship or as a permanent resident), high school seniors who reside in the United States and plan to attend a U.S. Accredited 4-Year College/University or Community College as a 1st year student in Fall (if selected, must submit college acceptance letter for verification). Must have a minimum cumulative unweighted high school GPA of 2.0 and a household income at or below the Federal/State/County Low Income Level (must be able to show tax return should applicant be selected for award).
