The Educational Foundation for Women in Accounting offers multiple scholarships, each with its own set of criteria, to undergraduate and graduate students. Applicants must be female U.S. citizens with demonstrated financial need who are attending an accredited U.S. school and pursuing an accounting degree. The scholarship programs include undergraduate awards, graduate awards, and a Ph.D. award.
Applicant must show a commitment to the goal of pursuing an accounting degree in preparation for a career as an accounting or finance professional, including evidence of continued commitment to this goal after receiving the award. Additionally, applicants must demonstrate an aptitude in accounting and business as evidenced by prior course work and/or work experience. Applicant must also establish clear evidence that goals and a plan for achieving those goals, both personal and professional. All scholarships have the same deadline except for the Laurels Fund (which is due generally a month later).
