I will be enrolling in the nursing program at TCC and this scholarship could help me with book fees and tuition. Becoming a nurse it’s mandatory that you are fully focused on your studies. I will have to quit my Full-time job to complete my studies, even though I still have car insurance, rent, and a car note. This scholarship would be a huge help!

I am a high school student with financial problems. My mom has 4 children and would not be able to take care of them and be able to send me off to college at the same time. I want to graduate and be able to provide for my family. This scholarship will be a great way to pursue my future in business administration. I got accepted into FVSU and would like to attend there but, I will need some assistance with paying for my tuition and books.

My name is Joshua Lowe, I am nineteen years old and have been accepted as a student at Embry Riddle Aeronautical University for the Spring semester of 2021. I will be pursuing my Bachelors in Global Conflict studies, with minors in Terrorism, and Homeland Security. In today's world there is so much turmoil and aggression between tons of nations in the world including our own. I believe that with this degree program and education I will be able to use my skills and knowledge to better understand and mediate some of the new world problems going on in the society of today. I am the first born as a US citizen in my family, both of my parents were born and grew up in a small town in Romania. My aunt had taken her own path in life and went on to work for the United Nations, she started as a volunteer in East Timor and worked her way up through many years of going on, and assisting with missions for the United Nation in many countries all across the globe, eventually working her way up to the Position of Chief OIC. My aunt is my role model, I aspire to be in her line of work to be able to help humans come together as a whole. I want to be able to stop war and physical aggression from neighboring nations, there is much work that is needed to be done to help people come together, and I believe that it is achievable through the collective minds of people like me who believe that we as people can all live on the same planet with peace and harmony.

The Florida Student Assistance Grant would be a great help to keep me enrolled in college. I am a third year student at Santa Fe College and recently moved home because of the COVID-19 pandemic. I am finishing a few prerequisite courses before attempting to move back to Gainesville, Florida where i can complete my education goals of attending the Rinker School of Construction to become a Project Manager! Hello, I am a 39yr old single mother of 3, who made a promise to myself and my kids that I would push through any and all odds and go back to school after 20yrs. Considering this year started out for me in the hospital with a rare condition called “spontaneous pneumothorax “, which means a collapsed lung.I have since experienced it 2 more times after being told it normally only happens once. So with having been in the hospital 3 different times, I managed to take my first class in February. Unfortunately, with having the collapsing right after I finished my first class I had to take a leave of absence to be able to focus on my health. I finally was able to start back classes in August, but now I’m having some financial issues due to I was not able to work and because I was a private HHA all of my clients all passed away within a month. So during this time I was without any income and was unable to save. I’m now getting back on my feet on the path to make a better life for myself and my kids. I would only hope pray that I would be considered for this scholarship because it would help tremendously. Also just take the burden off me and allow me to focus on what’s important which is my studies. I’m currently enrolled to get my R. M. A in June of 2022

With the recent news that I got accepted to the LPN program it is forcing me to quit my 8-4:30 full time job to commit to my studies. I still have bills such as a car payment, car insurance, and other expenses that need to be paid. Hello I am applying for this scholarship to help me with my classes. I am currently majoring in Education and had to pay tuition and school fees out of pocket. I graduated High school with a 3.0 Gpa as well. This would help me so much because money is very tight right now and College is extremely expensive to pay for especially out of pocket. I am applying for this scholarship because being a recent high school graduate and started a new full-time job is not easy. I am only able to afford as much as I can and my mother has enough stress than to add on helping me pay for college.That where I draw the line. I am a 19 year old undergraduate student and I am only beginning to know what it is like to be an adult. I always wanted to become a nurse because helping childrens and other adults. I am applying for this scholarship because I am getting my A.S and achieving my prerequisites to get into the radiology program next year. Which I will achieve the radiology tech degree and go into the work field. Currently, I am a twenty year old working a full time job as a vet tech in which I have managed to afford an apartment where I support my two dogs, and gathering the money for a car payment on top of that. As of right now, I am getting my A.S and achieving my prerequisites to get into the radiology program. I have worked hard for what I have achieved and still continue to work hard for the things I want in life. When I graduate I hope to be able to start my own organization either my own shelter for dogs in need in the mean time I am working on starting up my own online store for pet products. I have dedicated my life to helping animals and after working in a kennel for two years I finally found my place in making the world a better place for animals.

I’m applying for this scholarship because I refuse to let the set backs that life has thrown my way define my future. With the help of this scholarship I would be able to afford to go to The University of South Florida which has an excellent Speech Pathology Program. Recently I’ve had to work extra shifts to help with hospital bills that have burdened my mother. If I’m rewarded I will not only have more aid but I will be able to live on campus or near the campus which will put myself in a better learning environment.
