Scholarship Description
The Harlem Y Achievers in Industry (bai) Corporate Scholarship is awarded to New York City High School seniors who demonstrate an ability to achieve. Applicants mustr eside within the five boroughs of New York City, possess a minimum 2.7 GPA and be a current high school senior.
This is a one-time Scholarship Award of $2,500. Recipients must re-apply annually to be considered for future awards. Multiple awards will only be considered consecutively after the first year, with a maximum total of four.
The Award will be sent to the recipient’s school of choice and applied toward tuition and/or room and board fees. The Award will be officially announced on March 24th at the 50th Annual National Salute to Achievers in Industry Awards Gala, at Cipriani - 25 Broadway. Students with an expressed interest in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics and Business/Finance are strongly encouraged to apply.
Each application is scored with weighted consideration given to completeness, quality of responses and overall appearance. Points will be applied or deducted accordingly. All parts of the application must be completed and all requested documents submitted by the deadline. Incomplete and late applications will not be considered.
