  • IU awards the National Merit Scholarships to all National Merit Finalists who receive sponsorship through IU and indicate IU as their first choice through the National Merit Scholarship Program. It is renewable up to three years. Applicants must be US citizens or permanent residents. Both in-state and out-of-state applicants will be considered.
