The $1,500 Nebraska Logistics Council's (NLC) High School Scholarship is open to Nebraska juniors or seniors who are enrolled in, or planning to enroll, in a transportation, distribution, and logistics curriculum at a Nebraska institution of higher learning. Scholarships will be awarded to the best candidates chosen by the NLC.
Eligibility
- Current high school junior or senior
- Nebraska Resident
- Planning to pursue a career in transportation, distribution, and/or logistics cirriiculum at a Nebraska college, university or trade school
Application Process & Materials
- Complete Application:
- Write A Brief Essay (100-200 words) - "Why should I be considered for a Nebraska Logistics Council Scholarship?" Use examples of your personal strengths and characteristics as well as future career aspirations.
- Submit Your Resume - List employment history, school and community activities, honors and awards, and volunteer service. Please make sure to include any transportation, distribution, and logistics industry-related activities and employment.
Established in 2014, the Nebraska Logistics Council Scholarship was created to support students pursuing supply chain or logistics careers. A recent study from the Nebraska Department of Economic Development revealed that Nebraska’s geographic center in the U.S. gives it a great advantage for transportation, warehousing, logistics and distribution projects across the world.
