Education is vital to the growth and future of every community. Because of this, the Saginaw Community Foundation administers a variety of scholarship programs for high school, community college, university and vocational students. Since awarding our first $500 scholarship in 1987, the Saginaw Community Foundation has awarded more than $8 million in scholarships. To be eligible for the Nellie I. Kerry and Paul Sutherland Scholarship, applicants must: demonstrate financial need; be a high school senior from a Saginaw Public School; and be enrolled in a college or university full-time. Evaluation criteria will be based on scholastic record and overall involvement in community, school and work activities. Dollar amounts for this scholarship will vary.
