This scholarship offers eight awards of $2,000 each, providing valuable financial support to high school seniors who plan to embark on their college journey as full-time, degree-seeking students in the coming fall.

Scholarship Details

  • Eight scholarships available, each worth $2,000
  • Open to high school seniors
  • Intended for students enrolling in a U.S. Accredited 4-Year College/University or a Community College as 1st-year students in the coming fall (college acceptance letter required if selected)

Eligibility Criteria

  • High school seniors residing in specific counties within the following states:
    • California – Alameda, Contra Costa, Los Angeles, Marin, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, San Francisco, and San Mateo
    • New York – Bronx, Kings, Nassau, New York, Putnam, Queens, Richmond, Rockland, Suffolk, and Westchester
    • New Jersey – Passaic, Bergen, and Hudson
    • Texas – Harris, Fort Bend, Brazoria, Montgomery, and Galveston
  • Planning to attend a U.S. Accredited 4-Year College/University or a Community College as a 1st-year student in the coming fall
  • Minimum cumulative unweighted high school GPA of 3.0
  • Household income at or below the Low Income Level (tax return required for verification)
  • Open to students of all majors with np ethnicity requirement
  • Employees of Preferred Bank and their immediate family members are NOT eligible to apply

Application Process

  2. Complete the scholarship application, providing all required information and documentation.
  3. If selected, be prepared to submit your college acceptance letter for verification.

The scholarship awards will only be used to cover the cost of tuition for attending a college/university, as defined by the institution attended.
