To be eligible for the AL Diablo Valley Community College Scholarship, applicants must: be a resident of Contra Costa County; demonstrate financial need; have at least a 3.0 GPA; demonstrate academic achievements, school activities, community involvement and employment; be a current full-time community college student transferring in the upcoming fall, as a junior, to a four-year college or university; and not be a chapter member, relative of a chapter member or an employee of the Assistance League of Diablo Valley. This is renewable upon a 2.8 GPA and maintenance of full-time status (at least 12 credits each term).
The Assistance League of Diablo Valley is a nonprofit, member volunteer organization dedicated to improving lives in our community through hands-on programs. The Assistance League of Diablo Valley is an all-volunteer, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that puts caring and commitment into action through philanthropic programs in Contra Costa County. Throughout their generosity, the Assistance League of Diablo Valley offers numerous scholarships.
