The Washington Apple Education Foundation is the charity of the tree fruit industry. Their mission is to impact lives through access to educational opportunities. Investors in the WAEF are making dreams come true for men and women improving their lives through higher education. Every year, the Washington Apple Education Foundation awards hundreds of scholarships to deserving students on behalf of tree fruit industry families, employers and supporters.
The Howard and Helen Hauff Memorial Scholarship is offered to Washington state high school seniors or current college students from Washington. Applicants should be studying for a degree in engineering or business and been raised in a family involved in the tree fruit industry. Applicants must be pursuing a career in the tree fruit industry. Dollar amounts for this scholarship will vary. Applications run from the Fall until the due date.
