The John C. Volderauer Scholarship is offered to an undergraduate in radiologic technology, magnetic resonance imaging, ultrasound sonography or nuclear medicine technology who is a permanent resident of Kalamazoo County or is receiving their clinical or didactic training in Kalamazoo County. It is also offered to a person who is continuing their education, and who is a current radiologic technologist employed in or resident of Kalamazoo County. Students don't have to be enrolled full-time. Dollar amounts will vary.
The purpose of the John C. Volderauer Scholarship is two-fold: To provide financial assistance for qualified students enrolled in a Radiology Technology, Ultrasound, Sonography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, or Nuclear Medicine Technology program; and, to provide supplemental funds for postgraduate education to qualified registered radiologic technologists. This is offered by the Kalamazoo Community Foundation, who offers over 56 scholarships and grants to today's students.
