The Pawsible Puppy Raiser Academic Scholarship provides financial aid to student volunteer puppy raisers twice a year. The purpose of the scholarship funds is to alleviate some of the financial stress that student puppy raisers face. The scholarship can be used for tuition and fees, books, and supplies. One of these scholarships will be reserved for a volunteer puppy raiser who identifies as a member of a racial or ethnic minority. Applicants who are considered for this reserved scholarship will be still evaluated as potential recipients for the other four scholarships. Applicants should demonstrate financial need. This is offered twice a year, so deadlines will vary.
Applicants must be a volunteer puppy raiser with financial responsibility for a future assistance dog for a non-profit organization for at least one month during the Spring term (Jan-May), must be a U.S. citizen or U.S. permanent resident, be enrolled at least part-time in an accredited 2-year or 4-year institution of higher education that grants an Associate of Arts, Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree, or an accredited vocational school that grants a certificate of completion and fill out the whole application to the best of your knowledge and understand that if sections are left incomplete your application may not be considered.
