The Pennsylvania Podiatric Medical Association (PPMA) and the Podiatric Medical Assurance of Pennsylvania (PMAP) program have teamed up to offer a scholarship opportunity to its members and policyholders. Children of PPMA members in good standing that maintain current liability insurance through PMAP are invited to apply. The scholarship shall be used to offset costs incurred to attend an accredited four-year college, an accredited two-year college, or an accredited trade school.
Applicant must be a Child of an active PPMA member in good standing. The PPMA Member must have professional liability insurance supplied through the Podiatric Medical Assurance of Pennsylvania (PMAP) program. Applicant must be a High School Graduate currently accepted to or in an accredited four-year college, an accredited two-year college, or an accredited trade school. Applicant’s GPA must be 3.0 or higher to apply and applicant must submit a short 300-500 word essay explaining why he or she has selected the major and indicate his or her professional aspirations.
