Beaches Go Green is awarding (two) $2,500 scholarships to current high school seniors and higher education students (trade school, college, or university students) in the First Coast area for continuing education. Scholarships are awarded to qualified students who have demonstrated significant commitment to preserving, improving, or providing education on environmental issues. The basic qualifications are applicants must be currently enrolled as a high school senior or a higher education institution, will enroll in higher education in the upcoming school year (Trade School, College, or University), live in one of following counties: Baker, Flagler, St. Johns, Duval, Nassau, Clay and Putnam, volunteered at least (50) hours for an organization(s) focused on improving, preserving, or educating on environmental, wildlife, or sustainability issues.
