CAPS Medical Student Scholarship

• CAPS is offering scholarships of $2000 to $5000 each annually to students in United States medical schools. The CAPS Scholarships are open to medical students regardless of their hometown, gender, race or color. The applicants must be current medical students and are judged according to their academic achievements, financial needs, community service records and essays. Special credit is also given to those who are willing to serve the Chinese communities after their graduation.

  Only current MS1 to MS5 medical students in the United States are eligible to apply. A minimum of five scholarships ranging from $2000 to $5000 will be awarded. The following items are required before your application can be processed: Completed application form; The essay; A personal statement of 600 words or less about yourself and your future plan; A financial award letter or statement from the financial aid office of your medical school; Your 1040 tax return for 2022(or 2021 if 2022 return not yet available) or your parents' 1040 if you are a dependent. If there was no 1040 filed, please write a statement about such fact; Two letters of recommendation in support of your research and/or community services; and Other items to support your application.
