Scholarship Description

The global climate is changing rapidly, already impacting both human and natural systems. Over the next few decades, changes in temperature, precipitation, and climatic variability are expected to drive even more change. To face future challenges, we need leaders— representative of our nation’s diversity— with expertise in climate adaptation, experience in multi-disciplinary collaboration, exceptional communication skills, and dedication to actionable science.

Scholarship Details

  • Two-year Undergraduate Research Experience

Eligibility Criteria

  • Full-time student at a U.S. accredited academic institution
  • Rising college sophomore or junior
  • Good academic standing (GPA 3.0 or higher)
  • Underrepresented students in the sciences encouraged to apply

Application Process

  1. Application period open for Summer cohort
  2. Submit application with interest and short essays by December 31st
  3. Upload resume and unofficial transcript
  4. Provide names and contact info for two references
