Scholarship applications are now being accepted for the Diablo Black Men's Group's Scholarships. These scholarships are intended for African American male students who will be graduating from Contra Costa or Alameda County high schools in Spring. Eligibility Criteria: African American males scheduled to graduate from a Contra Costa or Alameda County high school at the end of the current academic year; have a 2.5 GPA (minimum); planning to attend college; involvement in community or school activities; and letters of recommendation from school teachers, counselors, church or community organizations. Individuals who have already graduated from high school or received a GED, but have never attended a college or university as a full-time student are also eligible to apply.
