Scholarship Description

Fox Pest Control is pleased to offer a $2,000 scholarship to an outstanding student who exemplifies our core values of building relationships with those in our communities and providing services to those in need. We look forward to helping you succeed in your college efforts as you continue to make an impact in your community and the world. At the conclusion of the entry period, you must be at least 18 years of age, be enrolled or planning to take courses in a U.S.-based college or university in coming fall and have a high school or college grade point average (GPA) of 2.5 or higher, and be a legal resident of one of the following states:

Connecticut, Florida, Illinois, Kentucky, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Maryland, New Hampshire, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Texas or Virginia.

Additionally Entrants may not be affiliated with Fox. This includes, being a past or present Fox employee or a family member residing in the same household as a Fox full-time, part-time or seasonal employee. Fox customers are eligible to receive this scholarship. There are two options for Entrants to submit their entry for judging.

Option 1:

Applicant may submit a video (3-5 minutes in length) explaining a philanthropic project that you have organized or participated in at any time over the past two years. Include how the project impacted you and others involved. You may record yourself talking in front of the camera, or you can get creative. Include photos or videos of the project as a reference. Upload the video to YouTube and submit the link in the application. Provide a letter of reference and recommendation from the recipient of your service project. Include the recipient’s contact information (name, email, phone number). Submit a link to the document in the application (Google Doc or Dropbox). Provide certification of your most recent or current GPA, such as an unofficial transcript. Submit a link to the PDF via Google Drive or Dropbox.

Option 2:

Applicant may submit a 300-500 word essay explaining a philanthropic project that you have organized or participated in at any time over the past two years. Submit a link to the document in the application (Google Doc or Dropbox). Include how the project impacted you and others involved. Please include photos of the event or project as a reference. Submit a link to the document in the application (Google Doc or Dropbox). Provide a letter of reference and recommendation from the recipient of your service project.
