I am a high school senior in Illinois with a GPA of 4.26 and an ACT score of 27. I am an incoming freshman of University of Illinois at Chicago, one of the biggest public universities in the state. I intend to pursue a Psychology major. Applying for this scholarship will lessen the cost of college for me, especially with the tuition and dorms. I plan to work my way up to becoming a developmental psychologist to help neurodivergent children. I love taking care of children and grew up with neurodivergent relatives. The way I saw other people treat my relatives, and neurodivergent people in general, made me determine to help them have a voice. Thank you so much for considering me for this scholarship.

I have achieved a 4.0 unweighted GPA throughout highschool, and received a 29 on my ACT. I have a sincere passion for nursing and healthcare, and genuinely enjoy helping people, especially those in geriatrics. I would greatly appreciate being considered for this scholarship to pursue my passion of nursing and continue my education. Thank you so much for your consideration.

I am a senior is high school in Michigan pursuing a degree in Biology with the course of Pre-Medicine and a minor degree in Spanish. I have made it through my high school career with a 4.087 GPA each year being on the honor roll. My SAT score is a 1310 with an evidence based score of 640 and a math score of 670. I plan on attending North Park University in Chicago to reach my academic goals and play softball, however due to the school being division 3 I am unable to receive any financial aid. This scholarship would really help me pay for my undergraduate degree so I can become a doctor and help people. Thank you very much for your consideration.

I am a sophomore at Loyola University Chicago currently working on a Bachelor's in Psychology also on track to go to graduate school to become Physician's Assistant. I have a current GPA of 3.8. I graduated high school with a GPA of 3.9 and an ACT score of 28. I have always had a passion for helping others and a genuine interest in the human mind which is what drew me to the field of psychology as well as the medical field. I became a certified nursing assistant to gain healthcare experience and working in a nursing home through a pandemic has proved to me that this is what I want to devote my life to, helping those in need. As corny as it sounds, I really want to make a difference with my future career and I plan on doing anything in my ability to to do. Please consider me for this generous scholarship as it would help to cover some of my costs for university. Thank you.

I am applying to this scholarship for nursing school because I want to make a difference in healthcare and how they treat patients. My dad passed away in 2017 from cancer and ever since that, I knew I wanted to be a nurse to not only help the patient, but to be a support system for their families. This would really help.

As the first person in my family to have the opportunity to attend college, I would like to congratulate my mom with earing this scholarship. Would this scholarship apply for a married woman/mother who works full time and can attend college part time?

Ruby T  on 12/28/2015 8:34:36 PM

I recently felt I was not fully exploiting my greatest potential and a dream came into play, it is when I just decided to go back to school and enroll at Keiser University to pursue an Associate’s degree of Science in Medical Administrative Billing and Coding, nonetheless I am a 61 years old woman. I believe it is never too late to achieve your goals in life and make your dreams come true. However, unfortunately money becomes a barrier between my dreams and their realization.
