Jessamine S. Henderson Foundation Scholarship

• Scholarship Description
• Applicants for the Jessamine S. Henderson Memorial Adult Education Scholarship must be high school graduates or possess a General Education Development (GED) diploma. Applicants must: be residents of Somerset or Hunterdon County, New Jersey; serious about pursuing a career-related program of study; and demonstrate financial need. Preference will be given to applicants who have had little or no opportunity to pursue any education or training beyond a high school diploma.

  However, those persons who already have a partial or complete college education or vocational training, and who are seeking to prepare for other career paths, are encouraged to apply. Applicants must be at least 21 years old. Scholarship monies may be used toward tuition, fees, materials, and other associated educational expenses (not living expenses). The Board selects award recipients based on eligibility criteria and interview results.
