The purpose of the PHF Reagan Sloane Shanley Scholarship is to encourage students and researchers in the applied sciences to explore/find practical solutions to help alleviate hydrocephalus, a debilitating condition with no known cure. This scholarship is available to applicants (at least age 18) with an interest in the discipline of neuroscience and/or engineering and have an understanding and/or current interest in hydrocephalus, cerebral spinal fluid & the brain.
Eligibility
- Graduating high school senior or current undergrad or grad student
- Interested in or majoring in neuroscience and/or engineering
- understanding and/or current interest in hydrocephalus, cerebral spinal fluid and the brain
The maximum fundign request per application is $10,000 per year, up to a three-year commitment with re-approval each year. Applications must be submitted by July 31st to be considered for the fall semester of that same year. Funding will be awarded before or during the month of September.
