Sertoma's vision is to create communities of change under common leadership and with a common voice that will serve the many in need... For those who cannot hear, there is Sertoma. Our mission and our passion is to improve the quality of life for those at risk or impacted by hearing loss through education and support. Local clubs can also choose to support other community needs in their vicinity.
The Sertoma Club of Springfield offers scholarships to students who plan on careers pertaining to hearing disorders. This scholarship is for students attending Illinois State University who are pursuing studies in speech pathology or audiology. This scholarship is limited to students with a permanent address in eligible Illinois counties.
