• The St. Boniface Young Artist Showcase is open to local high school students and college students who hail from the Sarasota-Bradenton area (this includes local students who are pursuing a music degree from an out-of-town institution and music students attending a SWFL college/university). Our mission statement is: To encourage the public performance of the highest quality music from eager, committed and deserving local high school and college-age (pre-degree) performers; To encourage commitment from young performers; To positively engage audiences musically and personally; and to continue bringing the highest quality music to the Sarasota area from local artists.

  College (pre-degree) students' maximum performance stipend is up to $1,000 (if multiple finalists are selected award is disbursed evenly). Stipend is paid to student’s college/university in the form of a scholarship payment. Travel allowance of up to $500 is awarded depending upon distance of enrolled college to Sarasota and is paid directly to student. High school students' maximum performance stipend is up to $1,000 (if multiple finalists are selected award is disbursed evenly). Stipend is paid to student’s “pre-college” scholarship Account/Fund or a private music teacher of the student’s choosing.
  
  This is open to chamber groups as well: note the $1,000 stipend will be split evenly among the members. St. Boniface can supply an accompanist for the auditions if requested (use of an accompanist is not required to audition). Scholarship disbursement: is contingent on completion of a 30 minute Evensong recital performance at St. Boniface Episcopal Church.
