I am very thankful for opportunities to have aid, I love making graphic designs, and while it gets tough, sharing to others my creativity is something I’d never let go of.

I apply for the scholarship because I am an Asian-Mexican American independent filmmaker trying to make my way in the world with my passion for filmmaking. I am currently under a four-year University getting my BA in digital media production / mass communications. This promising scholarship could help me cover expenses for my college tuition.

Hi! My name is Zahra Ahmed and I am a high school senior from Atlanta, GA. I love filmmaking, photography, and music but have tried my hand at many other creative mediums. I have applied to schools as a film production major, but affordability remains a primary issue. The out of state schools I have applied to are outside of my budget, so I appreciate this scholarship opportunity!

I applied for this scholarship because I have never truly considered any career outside of visual arts for my whole life. I'm glad to see opportunities like this online where students like me get a chance at some free money!

I applied for this scholarship on my own because I love the arts. I hope to go into college and explore and learn about the arts as freely as I can without financial stress.

Will the US Citizen/Resident Students having parents from Indian Subcontinent (India, Pakistan, etc..) be qualified for this scholarship?

Stephanos B  on 2/25/2016 1:13:22 AM

It says the scholarship will be disbursed to the educational institution in the student's name. Does that mean, the school is XX amount cheaper for you, or you got the school XX amount?
