The Karis S. (Powell) Woodward, RN, Nursing Scholarship awards assistance annually to students who meet the following criteria: are entering at least the sophomore year of an accredited bachelor of nursing program; have a permanent address n an area served by Blanchard Valley Health System; have at least a 3.0 GPA; be enrolled in coursework for academic credit and count toward a degree in nursing; and exhibit good moral character.
Preference will be given to recipients demonstrating financial need. The Karis S. (Powell) Woodward, RN, Nursing Scholarship is renewable upon receipt of application annually. This scholarship will not exceed $1,000 annually. Blanchard Valley Health System seeks to support and partner with area medical professionals and aspiring medical professionals through a variety of resources and educational opportunities. We value collaboration with our area medical staff, as well as other providers, and believe this is a cornerstone to providing patient-centered care.
