LaFontaine Aquatic Entomology Scholarship

• Scholarship Description
• The LaFontaine Aquatic Entomology Scholarship supports graduate students (MS or Ph.D.) doing a research project in aquatic entomology. A resume, a short synopsis of the project, and a letter of recommendation from his or her faculty advisor are requested for each candidate. Nominations will be forwarded to the VP of Education and the Education Committee for recommendations to the FFI Foundation.

  The mission of Fly Fishers International is to foster the legacy of fly fishing for all fish in all waters through conservation, education, and inspiring a growing community of fly fishers. Each year, awards are given to various individuals and groups who exemplify the mission and values of FFI. The International Federation of Fly Fishers Awards Program recognizes those individuals, clubs and other organizations that have made outstanding contributions to the Federation, our environment, fishery resources, angling literature and the fly tackle industry.
