OCA offers scholarships for graduating high school seniors, rising college seniors, and students pursuing a Masters in Public Administration. Founded in 1973, OCA-Asian Pacific American Advocates is a 501(c)(3) national member-driven nonprofit based in Washington, D.C. with 50+ chapters and affiliates across the U.S. For almost 50 years, OCA-Asian Pacific Americans has been dedicated to advancing the social, political, and economic well-being of Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders (AAPIs). Throughout their generosity, OCA offers scholarships to students.
Since its initiation, the OCA - UPS Gold Mountain Scholarship has provided 164 scholarships to Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) high school seniors who are the first in their family to attend an institution of higher education. Applicants must be admitted to a college or a university and plan to attend in the Fall of the year the award is offered, and have a Social Security number or employment number.
