The Woman’s Century Club is a social club focused on women’s history, the arts, education, and community service. Our club provides a place of connection and inspiration for women of all generations and walks of life. We seek to honor the history and traditions of the past while investing in the young women of the future. Each year we award one scholarship to an outstanding student whose application and supporting materials best meet our standards and who exemplifies the traditions of female leadership and service that were important to our club’s founders. The scholarship for the coming academic year is $2,500. The award includes membership in the Club through the end of the following year.
Scholarship applicants must be female undergraduate or vocational students enrolled in a college or university in King County, WA . They must have adequate academic hours to be enrolled in the fall in the final year of their program of study.
Scholarship funds awarded by the WCC are intended to help cover tuition, fees, books, supplies or required equipment for courses at your educational institution leading to a degree. The funds are not intended to be used for room and board, travel, optional equipment or other studies. Applications will be accepted from April 15 through June 30. No late applications will be accepted, so please make sure your complete application has been submitted and supporting documents uploaded via our website no later than June 30th at 5 p.m. Pacific Time.
