The ALCOA Fund Scholarship is an award meant to provide support for African American and Hispanic students who are graduates of the Cleveland Metropolitan School District or a Catholic school in Greater Cleveland (preferably Cuyahoga County). Selection decisions will be based on eligibility and completed application requirements with regard to the stated purpose and desired criteria for award of this scholarship. The total number of awards will vary, and this is renewable for up to four years.
Eligibility: African American or Hispanic student who is a graduate of the Cleveland Metropolitan School District or a Catholic school in Greater Cleveland (preferably Cuyahoga County); Minimum 3.0 GPA; Enrolled in or currently attending an accredited nonprofit educational institution within the state of Ohio; Enrolled full-time or part-time (minimum of 6 credit hours per term); and Financial need. Preference for CMSD students who reside in the City of Cleveland.
