Two $5,000 Scholarships are available for full-time undergraduate students at a four-year college/university in California for the 2024-2025 academic year. The Matt Fong Asian Americans in Public Finance Scholarships aim to support students interested in pursuing careers in the public sector.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Ethnic Heritage: Asian heritage (at least 50%)
  • Minimum GPA: 3.0
  • Preferred Majors: Social Science, Accounting, Business Administration, or related fields
  • Preference Given to Those Interested in Public Sector Work or with Community Service and Advocacy Experience

Application Process

  3. Provide two letters of recommendation.
  4. Selected finalists will participate in an online interview (to be scheduled).
