Antonio Amaral Foundation Scholarships

• Scholarship Description
• The Fundação Antonio Amaral was established on May 20, 2007 with a donation of $20,000 from the Amaral Family to start off this worthy cause. The foundation’s primary objective is to recognize and reward academic excellence among students of Portuguese descent. Scholarships are awarded to high school seniors and college students seeking a bachelor’s degree in an undergraduate program of study. To date, we have presented 209 scholarships totaling $327,500.00.

  To be eligible for the Antonio Amaral Foundation Scholarships, applicants must: be residents of Florida and of Portuguese descent; either the applicant or their parents must be an active member of the Portuguese American Cultural Center or other Portuguese Cultural Organizations in the state of Florida and plan on attending an accredited undergraduate college or university. This scholarship is renewable for up to four years.
