To be eligible for the Ethan Saylor Memorial Scholarship, applicants must: have Down Syndrome; be 18 years of age or older; and intend to pursue a passion despite previous limitations. To apply, in 500 words or less, applicants should talk about their passions and dreams, and how they would use this scholarship to make their dreams a reality. In the application, applicants must be sure to include their name, address, age, phone number and e-mail address. They can either apply for themselves or have someone else complete the application for them.
Ethan Saylor lived his life to the fullest. This scholarship is designed to help give individuals with Down syndrome to pursue their own dreams, regardless of any perceived limitations. This award is given annually to those who display the same drive and determination to pursue their dreams as Ethan had.
