To be eligible for the Hearthstone Housing Foundation Scholarship, applicants must: be from a low-income household or demonstrate financial need; be 15-25 years of age; be a resident of a Hearthstone Housing Foundation property or a county where a Hearthstone property is located?; a full-time high school student, or a full-time undergraduate student attending a college, university, or vocational school? in the United States; have at least a 3.0 GPA (if a high school student) or a 2.75 GPA (if a college student); and be available for a phone interview in May.
Hearthstone Housing Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit public benefit corporation dedicated to providing service-enriched affordable housing for low-income families, the elderly and the disabled. Hearthstone is also committed to combating community deterioration to lessen the burdens of government. Hearthstone is also dedicated to the success of the next generation and is proud to offer academic scholarships to its residents and to students in the surrounding communities.
