• Scholarship Description
• Orangewood Foundation’s Scholarship provides financial assistance to current and former Orange County, CA, foster youth engaging in the pursuit of higher education. Students may apply once a year until they obtain their Bachelor’s degree (if that is the goal) or until they reach max funding of $25,000 in total. Submitting an application does not guarantee funding. Not all applicants are eligible. Along with the Scholarship application, supporting documentation is required and eligibility will be verified.

  Orangewood Foundation provides an undergraduate scholarship for former Orange County, CA dependent youth. To be eligible, students must have been an Orange County, CA dependent after their 13th birthday. The scholarship has two application periods, July 1st - September 30th and December 1st - February 28th. Once approved, there is a Midyear Update completed after Fall term then an End of Year Update the student must complete end of Spring term. Each student may receive multiple disbursements throughout the year if approved. Students must pass with a C or better to be eligible for end of term funding and maintain at least a 2.0 GPA.
