World Trade Week Scholarship

• Scholarship Description
• The World Trade Week committee offers scholarships to aspiring students in international trade fields. Scholarships are awarded to outstanding graduating high school seniors entering an accredited college or university with the goal of a career in international trade, as well as college students pursuing international degrees. Applicants at the high school level must be graduating seniors in California entering an accredited college or university with a standard minimum GPA of 2.5. Applicants at the college/university level must be enrolled in a full-time academic program in California relating to international trade with verification of a minimum 2.5 GPA.

  World Trade Week actively promotes the positive aspects of international trade that are vital to a strong local and national economy, under the guidance of founding sponsors the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce, Los Angeles World Airports, the Port of Long Beach and the Port of Los Angeles. Education is the cornerstone of World Trade Week's mission to increase awareness of world trade's benefits to the region.
