• Scholarship Description
• Applicants must be citizens of the United States to apply for a scholarship offered by the DAR Scholarship Committee. Applicants must also attend or plan to attend an accredited college or university in the United States. A one-time award is given to students who are in financial need and who have been accepted or are currently enrolled in an accredited school of nursing.

  A letter of acceptance into a nursing program or a transcript stating the applicant is in a nursing program must be included with the application. DAR chapter sponsorship is not required, however, applicants may want to reach out to a DAR chapter in their area for help with their applications.
