• The Minority Teaching Fellows Program is intended to encourage talented minority Tennesseans to enter the teaching field in Tennessee. This award is for students who are pursing a teacher certification at an eligible Tennessee college or university.

  To be eligible, applicants must: be a minority Tennessee resident and a U.S. citizen; be classified as a college junior, senior, or graduate student; be enrolled full-time if an undergraduate or at least part-time if a graduate student; have a 2.5 GPA; and, not yet be a licensed teacher.
