The Dallas Hispanic Law Foundation invites those law students who are in the process of completing their first or second year classes to apply for the DHLF Judicial Internship Program. Judges from Dallas area civil and criminal courts will be participating. Applicants must have completed first-year law school courses from an accredited law school, including civil procedure, legal research, and legal writing courses. All students in Accredited Law Schools (including the UNT Dallas College of Law) are eligible to apply. The Foundation grants stipends to the students chosen to participate in the program.
Applicants must be willing to commit to a minimum of a four-week internship. The internships will commence no earlier than May and must be completed no later than July. Interns will receive a stipend of approximately $2,000.00 for the four weeks. Please note that there are 2 separate applications for the Scholarship/Bar Study Grant and Judicial Internship Programs. If you are applying for both, please submit all application materials by the deadlines. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
