AIA Northeast Illinois will award two scholarships of $3,000.00 each for a one-year period to cover tuition, fees, and other school related expenses for students studying in the field of architecture. The year covered by this scholarship application is from July 1st through June 30th of next year.

Eligibility Criteria
- U.S. citizens
- Enrolled for Fall semester in specified accredited architecture schools
- Home residence within AIA NEI Chapter boundaries, excluding specified areas
Application Process
- Verify eligibility with AIA NEI Chapter and review chapter boundary map
- Ensure enrollment in one of the designated architecture schools for Fall
Applicants must have a home residence of record within the AIA NEI Chapter boundaries (Chapter boundaries are: Cook, DuPage, Kane, and Kendall Counties, except that the territory shall not include the area within the city limits of Chicago, nor south of Interstate 55, nor east of the Edens Expressway). Applicants are encouraged to verify their eligibility with the AIA NEI Chapter prior to submission. A map of the Chapter boundaries may be found on the Chapter website
