• Imagine being a veteran who has been discharged from the military with your skills and your scars but now you have to essentially start from scratch, planning the next career path you'll take. Many jobs in today's economy require at least an undergraduate degree in your intended field. And higher education is not cheap, for civilians or veterans. Although the G.I. Bill helps those out of the military looking to further their education, it doesn't cover everything. That's where we come in.

  The Purple Heart Foundation scholarships are available to Purple Heart recipients and their direct descendants (including spouses, children, and grandchildren). These scholarships can be used to cover the cost of additional fees associated with higher education, such as tuition, room and board, books and related fees and other direct costs.
