Autism Can Do Scholarship

• Scholarship Description
• Applicants must be on the autism spectrum and live in the United States or Canada. They application consists of three parts: A simple application form; A brief personal statement; Submission of a sock design. You need not be a graphic artist to submit a design. In fact, none of the first three scholarship winners were graphic artists. We ask that you show us your imagination in creating a sock design. Applications are accepted up to the March deadline.

  Your sock design will be judged on the following elements: Creativity; Fun and ability to spread happiness; Appeal to Everyone. The winner of the Autism Can Do Scholarship will receive a $5,000 grant and John’s Crazy Socks will create their original sock design to sell in our online store! The winner will also receive a box of their own designed socks. A portion of the proceeds of the sale of the winning sock will be used to fund the scholarship next year. The first runner-up will receive a $2,500 scholarship and the second runner-up will receive a $1,000 scholarship. All winners must use their scholarships toward their education.
