Scholarship Details
- Total award amount ranges from $5,000 to $15,000

Eligibility Criteria
- Must be a U.S. or Canadian citizen or permanent resident
- Employed at least three years by one or more state or local governments
- Plan to pursue a career in state/provincial or local government finance
- Part-time enrollment in an eligible academic program
- Student must not have previously won a GFOA scholarship
- Submit a letter of recommendation from an employer and a reference familiar with the applicant’s commitment to the public sector
