Kaiden W  on 1/10/2023 5:16:15 PM

Hello, my name is Kaiden Wanna. I am interested in majoring in computer science. I've grown with a heightened interest in electronics and programming with good knowledge of electronic functions and theory. I want to commit my very being to my education and become the very best at my craft. I do not intend on leaving my education for any out-of-campus job offers, I want to finish my education to have higher knowledge in my field by the time I do pursue a career. I am seeking financial aid via scholarships so I may dedicate my time and effort to further succeeding in my education. With my tuition funds supported, I would be less pressured to balance both work and education and be primarily focused on my education and bettering myself with no distractions. I hear stories of people in college facing mental fatigue due to constantly balancing a full school day and work to assist their funds. My primary focus whilst in a college is education, I want to be my very best.

Hi, my name is Noah Wallace. I applied for this scholarship because My parents are both part of the school system as a counselor and principal. My parents don't make enough to get me everything I want so I applied for this scholarship so I can get a good job as a civil engineer so I can pay them back for what they have done and sacrificed for me. I love civil engineering because I am able to do things with my hands. I love building things and want to get a better education so I can help out my community and myself.

I was born on a well-educated but communist country like Cuba. I am a first-generation college student. When I immigrated to United States with the help of my parents. I have been trying to further my education while working full time. I was able to obtain an Associate Degree of Computer Science in a little over two years When I enrolled into a bachelor’s degree program, my mother lost her job due to a job-related injury. She was not well compensated and fired. My and my stepdad had to support her and look for ways to help pay for a surgery that she needed. I had to dropout college to work overtime to help pay for her expenses. I have not been able to go back to school because of financial struggles, and other family tragedies situations. With this scholarship help, I would be able to finish my bachelor’s degree without further student debt burden and be able to work in a fulfilling career and be able to keep supporting my parents and have a better future outlook for my future family.

Felicia H  on 9/2/2020 12:31:17 PM

Hello my name is Felicia Hendrix and I'm currently the Call Center Coordinator for the OBAT clinic in Boston working with Opioids patients. I tried to apply for this scholarship but for some reason it won't let me. I have applied for a 2.8 year Mortuary program, my current employer does not offer tuition reimbursement for me as I'm non union. I feel I need this scholarship because this generation of Morticians are all elderly and with the recent rash of violence, COVID 19, Opioid death and just natural deaths, the system of our older Morticians need some help. I grew up in the community dealt with and continue to be around death. This school is very expensive but is the only one that is offered in Massachusetts. My love of people and wanting to help them however is what is driving me to pursue this scholarship. I hope that my comments are taken into consideration as I look forward to beginning school November 9,2020 at Fine Mortuary College In Boston ma
