I did not apply, because this scholarship is not open to Nutrition and Dietetics majors. I find it unfortunate since most of my classes are science based. I was accepted pre-select into a Nutrition and Dietetics majors program. Hopeful this can change for future students.

As a minority coming from the inner city of Chicago where poverty and crime strikes the news day in and day out, I have found my education as a tool to boost my knowledge and think beyond my environment. After being accepted into a new Occupational Therapy Program, I am seeking to find funding through various avenues to help fund my graduate education. My background includes a Bachelors in Interdisciplinary Health- Health Behavior Change, concluding my final term for my Masters in Business Administration in Sports, and will then pursue my education in the field of Occupational Therapy. As many are unaware of the importance of Occupational Therapist in the community especially lower developed and poverty stricken communities, my goal after successfully completing my graduate studies is to begin developing a plan to give back to my community through a local 5013C organization geared towards improving the livelihoods of children with disabilities. I hope to share my ideas and be considered. good luck to all!

I thank you for the opportunity to apply for this scholarship. I have been working in the medical filed for about 6 years as a Medical Assistant and in 2021 I decided to go back to school to further my education and give myself the opportunity to be more hands on with the community that I serve. As we all have been going through this pandemic together some of us are in need of financial assistance and if considered this scholarship would help a great deal. I am in my first year of college and I'm understanding the pace and due diligence of online classes and I would be very grateful to receive financial help while attending college.

I am a full time single mother. I feel the need to give back as hospitals have helped me with my daughter and her operations. I have always wanted to be in the heathcare field however I never new what particular place. After seeing my 3 year old daughter get brains surgery, I automatically knew I belonged in the nursing field

This scholarship would be a huge help with my financial needs in pursuing a bachelors degree in Nursing. My parents are unable to support me financially due to unfortunate events. Despite of our family hardships, I have been very determined and consistent with my 3.2+ GPA each year in high school.

I’m trying to go to school to further my education in Diagnostic Medical Sonography with an associates degree and would like to get a bachelors degree in radiology as well. I want to help people. I have been working full time as a Pharmacy Technician and just don’t have the funds to pay for my schooling. In order pursue my degree i will need financial help. I am eligible for only just so many loans and those have a very high interest rate.

The Tylenol scholarship would be a blessing. I am the son of a single mother and because of financial reasons I was unable to attend college until over six years after being out of high school. It had been a dream of mine to be a part of the medical field and show caring and compassion to patients that I would care for. My goal is to become a physical therapist and to bring my reality experience from my adulthood to the playing field. I am currently working 35+ hours a week and attending 14 credit hours worth of classes. Thank you for reading.

This scholarship would definitely help with financial needs to finish my degree in Athletic Training. I was at the University of Miami for one semester but due to financial changes in my parents pay I'm no longer able to attend. This Fall i will be going back to Barry University in the hopes of finishing my degree. I lost 160 pounds within the past 3 years and i'm almost at my goal weight.

Glendora R  on 2/11/2016 2:46:16 PM

This scholarship would definitely help with financial needs to finish my program in Medical Office Administrative. I have recently graduated from Ultimate Medical Academy. I am currently attending the same school, just need finances smoothed out, then I'm on my way to receive my Associate's Degree. I would absolutely be honored if I was accepted this scholarship. I am left handed if that helps. Have a great day.

I am currently pursuing a chemical engineering degree at Wayne State University. Although, it is not technically a healthcare field, chemical engineering is the future of pharmaceutical companies innovative advances. The money will not be granted to me but to my education. And it is through me that education will guarantee a way greater impact than an individual diploma. This money will sponsor the generation responsible for curing cancer, AIDS, and other diseases and epidemic that will render this world a safer and healthier place for all.

This scholarship would truly help me in achieving my goal of becoming a radiological technician; I am from Florence S.C. I am a certified C.N.A in South Carolina; however right now I am living in Tallahassee Florida, and attending Tallahassee Community College. I am enjoying pursuing my dream of becoming a radiological technician; however I am couch surfing and am not financially stable right now. If you could consider my application I would greatly appreciate it. Calvin Clark
