  • Scholarship Description
  • The Black Community Scholarship Fund is awarded to African-Americans in the greater Kansas City area. The student must be a graduating high school senior, a current college student, or an adult seeking educational or career advancement through an accredited degree or certification program at a two or four year college and/or nonprofit technical school. Priority will be given to students pursuing degrees in the fields of Healthcare, Education, Youth Development, Liberal and Performing Arts or STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics). Announcements are made in June. Renewable upon a 2.0 GPA. For more information, or to apply, please visit the scholarship provider’s website.
