Hope College Distinguished Artist Awards - Music

  • Scholarship Description
  • Auditions are open to all prospective Hope students, on any instrument or voice, regardless of intended major. Music scholarship recipients are required to take lessons and participate in music department ensembles.
    Each audition will be approximately 10 minutes long and audition pieces should be prepared in their entirety. Select literature that you have studied thoroughly and that you and your teacher believe represent your best work.
    Voice students: An accompanist will be provided if needed. Instrumentalists: You can either audition unaccompanied, or you can bring your own accompanist. For more information or to apply, please visit the scholarship providers website.
