I am a soldier in the US Army National Guard. I am on active duty orders and I have a family. I am currently going to school full time. My passion is to help animals. I love animals and I am looking to become a veterinarian. I look forward to graduating in Fall of 2021 and I am looking for a 4 year school to attend to in spring of 2022. But 4 year colleges are expensive and it is hard for me to pay for the tuitions. This scholarship would be of great help for me and my family. My motivation is my daughter and husband, who is a disabled veteran. They are always pushing me to do better and more. I am not only doing this for the animals but mainly for my family. I hope my comment is read by someone who listens and understands my passion by just reading this..Thank you for your time.

My father is an Air Force Veteran who served for 20 years. He is 90% disabled and I would like to try to take the financial burden of paying for my undergraduate program off of their hands.

Both my parents served in the military and I am a proud military child. My mom served for 8 1/2 years, and my dad served for 21 before passing away in a service related death. This scholarship would help out greatly, as my mom is now a single mom to 4 children.

I am unsure if this grant applies to me, but long story short I am currently active duty and have served 7 years my EAS is July of this year and foresee some financial obstacles being a father of 2 trying to further my education rather than work full time.
