• Since 1941, the Community Foundation of Greater New Britain has been the area’s signature resource for those who, like us, aspire to make our community a better place. The Community Foundation of Greater New Britain understands that we all benefit from an educated workforce, and our Board of Directors, Scholarship Committee and staff are committed to the continued growth of scholarship funds that help local students pursue their educational goals.

  The Community Foundation of Greater New Britain offers nearly 50 scholarships awarded to graduating seniors of local public high schools in the Foundation’s coverage area, which includes Berlin, New Britain, Plainville and Southington. A small number are awarded to graduating seniors from Farmington, Newington and Wethersfield. Certain scholarships are also available to undergraduate and graduate students.
