Education is vital to the growth and future of every community. Because of this, the Saginaw Community Foundation administers a variety of scholarship programs for high school, community college, university and vocational students. Since awarding our first $500 scholarship in 1987, the Saginaw Community Foundation has awarded more than $8 million in scholarships. The Saginaw Area Health Care Administrators Scholarship is offered to employees in the areas of administration, nursing, dietary, maintenance, and other health-related occupations. To be eligible, applicants must: demonstrate financial need; have at least one year of seniority and continuous employment at specific Saginaw County facilities (see website for details); and be enrolled in an accredited college or university. Dollar amounts for the scholarship will vary.
