HighSchool.GG and Washington State Scholastic Esports Association (WSSEA) are proud to present the Washington State Scholastic Esports Championships. To participate, students must compete in person for a scholarship in Vancouver, Washington at Heritage High School. Open to any middle school or high school students in the state of Washington or Oregon (public or private), students can compete in Valorant, Rocket League, Smash, Cosplay, Photography, Videography, Broadcasting, and many more gaming-related events! In addition to these competitions, we’re offering Academic Contests (CTE Career Development Events) with scholarships available for winners! You don’t even have to play a game. Compete in broadcasting, cosplay, logo design, video editing, and many more.
The goals of the WSSEA are to provide high-quality Esports competitions for WA state high school students and support teachers with club creation, ongoing activities, and coaching. Distribute Esports curriculum to develop critical industry skills in high school students. The WSSAE seeks to create a partnership between high schools, colleges, and professional Esports organizations in WA state.
